Acing Your School Logo Design
Your school logo must be something really cool, right? School logos aren’t just the typical types of logos. It embodies your whole student organization, unifies the students and represents everything that your school is taking a stand for. And because of its overwhelming importance to the school, you are left with no choice but to give your very best and ace your school logo design. Of course it would have been a lot easier if only you didn’t have to impress hundreds of other students. It’s undebatably a very difficult task, however with a bit of research you can definitely get it done. Lucky for you, you need not do a lot of research anymore because we already did it all for you.
Color is the very first thing that we will ever notice in anything, hence makes it the most primary aspect that is needed to be considered in making logos. For a large number of people, creating a logo would entail choosing indeed a very eye catching color. Moreover, the color or the combination of colors must be the representations of the school’s ideals and even more so, reflect the school’s history and where it is situated. For instance, if regal elegance is like one of the main and core themes of your school then picking purple as your color choice for your logo would be best than the rest of the other colors since it radiates a lot of elegance and nobility. Or if your school is located in a place or area where it is known for its beautiful array of flower fields and such, then perhaps an earthly floral design will work for the best. Or use a virtual highschool for the sake of personalization.
Of course a great color choice would not really amount to much alone. It should also have coordination with the other elements found in the logo meaning that they should match with each other and not be oil and water. Or that it should complement itself with the branding strategy that your school has, such as the merchandise that they sell or the mascots that they use to represent themselves in every outside activity or a virtual highschool. Example a school that already has a jaguar for their mascot in different matches should include an image of a jaguar in their school logo or something that would represent a jaguar or maybe just a virtual higschool.
It would also be a great help if you check out your competition as well. It would not hurt to at least get some pointers from them. Notice how they do their design as much as you pay attention to your own design. What type of elements like the virtual highschool did they use in their design and which ones did they prioritize the most? How heavy were their texts? Check out virtual highschool.
